Another Year Older

Today's my birthday. 
Ella decided that my morning should begin around 5am (I was able to go back to sleep for about another hour), haha, but, really, the morning so far has been lovely. 
I found these gifts from The Husband on the table when I went to fix breakfast. 
My favorite is the iPad case (mine was falling apart), but the coloring book comes in a close second. 
Then, The Husband arrived with these. The roses are pretty, but I LOVE the hydrangeas!
He's pretty impressed with them, too ;)
He took me to an early lunch while my parents stayed with the kids, and we are now stuffed. Goodness.  But the food was sooooo good. 
And for the last part of my birthday, I get to go have a massage this afternoon while my mom stays with the kids while they nap. Thanks, Momma, for gifting me with that!

It's been a nice day :)

    I'm so glad your birthday has been a good one. Weather is perfect, gorgeous flowers, thoughtful gifts and a precious, loving family. Couldn't ask for more!!! Love you.

~I'm in the mood to decorate my backyard with beautiful flowers, especially along the fence line. I was thinking rose bushes. But, then. I get email notifications from a company called Joss & Main often with discounted prices and good deals, and today's email showed that, among other things, they had their garden items on sale. I clicked on over and saw the prettiest hydrangeas! I ADORE hydrangeas. We had them in our wedding, and they were so simple and beautiful. Unfortunately, they already sold out of all of their hydrangeas!!  BOO.  I'll keep looking around to find some good deals.  If you're also in the gardening mood, check out their sales . Maybe they'll have the plant, garden item, outdoor furniture, or other item for around the house you're searching for. ~Saturday morning, my mom and I took the kids to our local consignment shop. They were having a birthday/reopening/moving celebration and had prizes and food and a man doing face painting.

Introducing....

I know I left you all in suspense. Right now I'm running on very little sleep (we were awake for 25 hours straight, & I've slept an hour and 45 minutes total since then), so this is more informative and less story-like--his birth story will come later. I have to tell it, at some point, because it was nothing short of amazing.  And traumatic.  And I may have to gather more details from those who might remember it more clearly. So, without further ado... (And with a very grainy picture from my iPad taken in the early light of day--6:45), I'd like to introduce you to our son. Jack Campbell Born on 6-11-13 at 1:11 am (he's almost 6 hours old) Weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces (praise God!!) and measuring 18.5 inches long.  He's entirely too precious for words.  We feel ridiculously tired and immeasurably blessed. Thank you for praying!

**Hehehehe.
