25 Weeks - Pregnancy #3
Each Sunday, I'd like to do a highlights post, including a picture, summarizing the differences in my pregnancy from week to week. I totally "grabbed" this idea from Kelly. I did this with my pregnancies with Hadley and with Jack, as well, and I still think it is a great way to jot down the things that I don't want to forget later on.
Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 25 weeks
Size of baby: Baby Girl is 9 or so inches long (crown to rump)--the size of an eggplant-- 12 or so inches crown to feet
Total weight gain/loss: At my appointment last Friday, the scale showed that I've gained 15 pounds so far. Holy. Moly.
Maternity clothes: Pajamas, shorts, maxi skirts, and shirts. Maternity dresses and tops.
Gender: A sweet baby girl :)
Movement: She was very, very active during both non-stress tests I had last week, but other than those days, either I'm too busy to notice or she's in a position that I don't feel her as often.
Sleep: Sleep has been decent. A few nights in a row my back has really been giving me trouble, and I've found it difficult to sleep.

What I miss: Hmmm. Walking to the park without being exhausted by the time we get there!
Cravings: Sweets
Symptoms: I've had some sciatic nerve pain this week and a little bit of reflux.
Exercise: Just walking to the park or in the neighborhood. Nothing exciting.
Belly Button in or out: Well, my sister noticed it this weekend, THROUGH MY SHIRT, so it must be out. Bluh.
Wedding ring on or off: On :)
Happy or moody most of the time: Both. Seriously. Each day is a mix of the two.
Looking forward to: I guess my non-stress test tomorrow. I like listening to her heartbeat for 20 mins and feeling her move so often.

Best moment this week: Getting to see Baby Girl on the ultrasound I had on Friday. The baby's heart rate dipped below where they'd like to see it go once while being monitored, so I had to have an ultrasound to check that things were ok. She had the hiccups while we watched her, and we saw her take a few test breaths :).

Yes, I realize this is a day late. And, yes I also realize there's no picture. I had a rough night Saturday night, and Jack's naps were wonky Sunday, so I stayed in pajamas until way late in the day, and that change only occurred because I was going for a walk. If The Husband has time before class this afternoon, maybe he'll take a picture for me. If not, it's no biggie :)
