Thirty Days of Thankfulness - Day 2

I'm continuing my Thirty Days of Thankfulness (I admit that I typed Thirsty first; I am quite parched) posts today.

Day 2

Today I am thankful for gifts of kindness.  When we lost Hadley, cousins of mine (whose house we visit each year on Thanksgiving) made a donation to the school library in her memory.  This week, I was presented with the books that were chosen (with such care by my sweet friend Wendy) and purchased with that gift.  They are GORGEOUS books, and I felt such joy as I typed up the book donation plates (with Hadley's sweet name on them) to go inside each one.  Her memory continues to live on, and when I pick up one of these books, I know I'll smile.

So, today I'm grateful for gifts of kindness.
