Thirty Days of Thankfulness - Day 12

Today is the 12th day of my Thirty Days of Thankfulness.

It's Monday, and it's definitely felt like a Monday.  Y'all, I am worn out!  I'm totally counting down the days to Thanksgiving break!  Anybody else??

Day 12:

Monday nights are Bible study nights.  I LOVE those nights.  The Husband and I head over to my sweet friend Tina's house where a bunch of our church family/friends have gathered, munch on some yummy grub, and dig into God's Word.  It's a joyful, enriching time.  I always come away with at least one nugget of truth to mull over.

We're currently working our way through The Explicit Gospel study based on Matt Chandler's book of the same name, and I have learned so much!  We have such great discussions surrounding these lessons.  We only have one more week of the study, and I can't wait to see what we delve into next!

Today, I'm thankful for Monday night Bible studies!

Monday Musings (5/4)

~I'm in the mood to decorate my backyard with beautiful flowers, especially along the fence line. I was thinking rose bushes. But, then. I get email notifications from a company called Joss & Main often with discounted prices and good deals, and today's email showed that, among other things, they had their garden items on sale. I clicked on over and saw the prettiest hydrangeas! I ADORE hydrangeas. We had them in our wedding, and they were so simple and beautiful. Unfortunately, they already sold out of all of their hydrangeas!!  BOO.  I'll keep looking around to find some good deals.  If you're also in the gardening mood, check out their sales . Maybe they'll have the plant, garden item, outdoor furniture, or other item for around the house you're searching for. ~Saturday morning, my mom and I took the kids to our local consignment shop. They were having a birthday/reopening/moving celebration and had prizes and food and a man doing face painting.

Introducing....

I know I left you all in suspense. Right now I'm running on very little sleep (we were awake for 25 hours straight, & I've slept an hour and 45 minutes total since then), so this is more informative and less story-like--his birth story will come later. I have to tell it, at some point, because it was nothing short of amazing.  And traumatic.  And I may have to gather more details from those who might remember it more clearly. So, without further ado... (And with a very grainy picture from my iPad taken in the early light of day--6:45), I'd like to introduce you to our son. Jack Campbell Born on 6-11-13 at 1:11 am (he's almost 6 hours old) Weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces (praise God!!) and measuring 18.5 inches long.  He's entirely too precious for words.  We feel ridiculously tired and immeasurably blessed. Thank you for praying!

**Hehehehe.
