21 Weeks - Pregnancy #4
Each Monday, I'd like to do a highlights post, including a picture, summarizing the differences in my pregnancy from week to week. I totally "grabbed" this idea from Kelly. I've done this with my three previous pregnancies (you can go to the search box and type in "pregnancy," or "week #" if you're interested in how my previous pregnancies progressed), as well, and I still think it is a great way to jot down the things that I don't want to forget later on.
How far along: 21 weeks
Size of baby: This little one is about 10 1/2 inches long (head to toe) and curled up is about the length of a carrot.
Total weight gain/loss: I'm up 10 pounds total as of my appointment on Friday.
Maternity clothes: spaghetti strap shirts, loose skirts or summery dresses, and cute/comfy shorts
Gender: boy :) 💙
Movement: he has been VERY active this week :)
Sleep: Sleep has been fine except for this wretched summer cold that has taken my house by storm.
What I miss: Not being out of breath when I do simple things like walk quickly to another room, haha!
Cravings: ice cream
Symptoms: lower blood pressure which results in dizzy spells, Braxton Hicks contractions last night
Exercise: walking a couple of times a week at the mall, 15-20 minutes of yoga stretches before bed 2-4 nights a week,
Best moment this week: Seeing out little guy at our specialist appointment on Tuesday :)
