Thirty Days of Thankfulness - Take Two - Day 4

Oy. 
When this girl is happy, she is very, very happy. 
Thanks to the amber necklace she's had on practically all day, those teeth pains haven't gotten the best of her. She has been such a good-natured little girl today. 

Today, I'm thankful for Ella Hope. 
She is daring and darling and delightful (98% of the time). 
She has the best smile and the bluest eyes. 
She is giggly and babbly and says her words so sweetly. 

She plays peek-a-boo like a pro. 
Thank you, Lord, for Ella-Bella. She is growly and girly and gorgeous, and she is all ours.

Monday Musings (5/4)

~I'm in the mood to decorate my backyard with beautiful flowers, especially along the fence line. I was thinking rose bushes. But, then. I get email notifications from a company called Joss & Main often with discounted prices and good deals, and today's email showed that, among other things, they had their garden items on sale. I clicked on over and saw the prettiest hydrangeas! I ADORE hydrangeas. We had them in our wedding, and they were so simple and beautiful. Unfortunately, they already sold out of all of their hydrangeas!!  BOO.  I'll keep looking around to find some good deals.  If you're also in the gardening mood, check out their sales . Maybe they'll have the plant, garden item, outdoor furniture, or other item for around the house you're searching for. ~Saturday morning, my mom and I took the kids to our local consignment shop. They were having a birthday/reopening/moving celebration and had prizes and food and a man doing face painting.

Introducing....

I know I left you all in suspense. Right now I'm running on very little sleep (we were awake for 25 hours straight, & I've slept an hour and 45 minutes total since then), so this is more informative and less story-like--his birth story will come later. I have to tell it, at some point, because it was nothing short of amazing.  And traumatic.  And I may have to gather more details from those who might remember it more clearly. So, without further ado... (And with a very grainy picture from my iPad taken in the early light of day--6:45), I'd like to introduce you to our son. Jack Campbell Born on 6-11-13 at 1:11 am (he's almost 6 hours old) Weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces (praise God!!) and measuring 18.5 inches long.  He's entirely too precious for words.  We feel ridiculously tired and immeasurably blessed. Thank you for praying!

**Hehehehe.
