32 Weeks - Pregnancy #3

Each Sunday, I'd like to do a highlights post, including a picture, summarizing the differences in my pregnancy from week to week.  I totally "grabbed" this idea from Kelly.  I did this with my pregnancies with Hadley and with Jack, as well, and I still think it is a great way to jot down the things that I don't want to forget later on. 
Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along:  32 weeks - Third Trimester

Size of baby:  Baby Girl weighs as much as a head of lettuce

Total weight gain/loss:  So far, I'm up 22 pounds total this pregnancy.

Maternity clothes:  Anything that still fits

Gender:  a very breech baby girl

Movement:  Kicking/moving when I'm holding Jack or lying down

Sleep:  Sleep has become a fleeting thing.

What I miss:  Sleeping through the night and giving full-on hugs

Cravings:  chocolate chip ice cream

Symptoms: acid reflux and a full bladder all. of. the. time.

Exercise: I walked a few times.

Belly Button in or out: It's not in or out.  It's just flat.

Wedding ring on or off: On :)

Happy or moody most of the time: Hmm.  I would say mostly happy. I got a haircut, so I was super happy that day :)

Looking forward to:  This little girl making that all-important 180 degree turn.

Best moment this week:  Celebrating Jack's actual birthday on Wednesday and again today with family and friends.  He did well considering he's in that very needy "I only want Momma" phase.  As soon as I get all of the pictures in, I'll post them.


He's a very loved little boy, and we feel very fortunate and thankful for our friends and family!

    I'm so glad Jack C. had a great birthday. I think he did well considering there were so many well-wishers in attendance. I love your new haircut, and I love you.

Monday Musings (5/4)

~I'm in the mood to decorate my backyard with beautiful flowers, especially along the fence line. I was thinking rose bushes. But, then. I get email notifications from a company called Joss & Main often with discounted prices and good deals, and today's email showed that, among other things, they had their garden items on sale. I clicked on over and saw the prettiest hydrangeas! I ADORE hydrangeas. We had them in our wedding, and they were so simple and beautiful. Unfortunately, they already sold out of all of their hydrangeas!!  BOO.  I'll keep looking around to find some good deals.  If you're also in the gardening mood, check out their sales . Maybe they'll have the plant, garden item, outdoor furniture, or other item for around the house you're searching for. ~Saturday morning, my mom and I took the kids to our local consignment shop. They were having a birthday/reopening/moving celebration and had prizes and food and a man doing face painting.

Introducing....

I know I left you all in suspense. Right now I'm running on very little sleep (we were awake for 25 hours straight, & I've slept an hour and 45 minutes total since then), so this is more informative and less story-like--his birth story will come later. I have to tell it, at some point, because it was nothing short of amazing.  And traumatic.  And I may have to gather more details from those who might remember it more clearly. So, without further ado... (And with a very grainy picture from my iPad taken in the early light of day--6:45), I'd like to introduce you to our son. Jack Campbell Born on 6-11-13 at 1:11 am (he's almost 6 hours old) Weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces (praise God!!) and measuring 18.5 inches long.  He's entirely too precious for words.  We feel ridiculously tired and immeasurably blessed. Thank you for praying!

A Little Revealing

**Hehehehe. My blog post title made me giggle.** If you stayed tuned and saw on FB that we'd be announcing this afternoon, then you're in luck.  So, without further adieu, Jack and Ella will be doing the honors.  Now, go on ahead and post in the comments what you guessed :) I was right early on but then changed my mind, so any guess was a good one!
