Two Things Tuesday (7/30)

1.  This little boy had a not-so-good night last night due to congestion. 
Poor guy could not seem to clear his throat. I tried clearing his nose with the blue bulb thingy, but nothing seemed to help. I got lots of junk out this morning, but there's still some in there. 


2. We've decided that in order to do what's financially best for us, we need to lease out or sell our condo. Pronto. 
Because of this very difficult decision, we have to find a home or homes for our two cats either temporarily until we're able to afford a place to live or indefinitely if the new owner(s) desire.
 It's really upsetting, and I'm trying to stay positive, but things are tough right now. I've had my Siamese since I was in college (over 10 years ago), and I've had my tabby since I moved into the condo 6 years ago.  They've been my constant companions, and I'm going to try hard to find them homes because I can't stand the thought of taking them to the shelter. Just breaks my heart. 

I know I say this often, but your prayers are so precious. Thank you for walking this journey with us.

    We love you, and for however long it takes, you know you are welcome here. This is just a little bump in the road of life. God is taking care of the details.

Monday Musings (5/4)

~I'm in the mood to decorate my backyard with beautiful flowers, especially along the fence line. I was thinking rose bushes. But, then. I get email notifications from a company called Joss & Main often with discounted prices and good deals, and today's email showed that, among other things, they had their garden items on sale. I clicked on over and saw the prettiest hydrangeas! I ADORE hydrangeas. We had them in our wedding, and they were so simple and beautiful. Unfortunately, they already sold out of all of their hydrangeas!!  BOO.  I'll keep looking around to find some good deals.  If you're also in the gardening mood, check out their sales . Maybe they'll have the plant, garden item, outdoor furniture, or other item for around the house you're searching for. ~Saturday morning, my mom and I took the kids to our local consignment shop. They were having a birthday/reopening/moving celebration and had prizes and food and a man doing face painting.

Introducing....

I know I left you all in suspense. Right now I'm running on very little sleep (we were awake for 25 hours straight, & I've slept an hour and 45 minutes total since then), so this is more informative and less story-like--his birth story will come later. I have to tell it, at some point, because it was nothing short of amazing.  And traumatic.  And I may have to gather more details from those who might remember it more clearly. So, without further ado... (And with a very grainy picture from my iPad taken in the early light of day--6:45), I'd like to introduce you to our son. Jack Campbell Born on 6-11-13 at 1:11 am (he's almost 6 hours old) Weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces (praise God!!) and measuring 18.5 inches long.  He's entirely too precious for words.  We feel ridiculously tired and immeasurably blessed. Thank you for praying!

**Hehehehe.
