20 Weeks - Pregnancy #2

Each Sunday, I'd like to do a highlights post, including a picture, summarizing the differences in my pregnancy from week to week.  I totally "grabbed" this idea from Kelly.  I did this with my pregnancy with Hadley, as well, and I still think it is a great way to jot down the things that I don't want to forget later on.  I'll probably write these on Saturday nights and attach the picture the next day.  That way I can stay semi-technology free :)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along:  20 weeks -- HALF WAY!

Size of baby:  Baby Boy is 6 1/2 inches long (crown to rump), 10 inches crown to feet--the size of a banana

Total weight gain/loss: As of my last appointment, I'm 3 1/2 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight.  I've been eating A LOT lately, so I don't doubt that I've gained a bit more :)

Maternity clothes:  I broke down this week and tried on the maternity jeans The Bestie gave me.  Soooooo comfortable!  What have I been waiting for???

Gender:  A sweet baby boy :)

Movement:  Mostly I feel movements in the evenings, but I've been feeling them more throughout the day lately.

Sleep:  I had one insomnia-ridden night, but other than that, I've been sleeping pretty well.

What I miss:  Mexican restaurant queso

Cravings:  Chocolate shakes :)  I've had quite a few this week, haha!

Symptoms:   AWFUL pregnancy eczema.  Simply awful.

Exercise: Well.  I went to the gym exactly "0" times this week.

Belly Button in or out: In still! Yay!

Wedding ring on or off: On :)

Happy or moody most of the time: This week has been a happy week!

Looking forward to: Choosing a name!

Best moment this week:  Seeing The Bestie!!! More on that later ;)

  1. Can't wait to see you tomorrow!! It was time to move on to the pregnancy jeans (I would have been in them a lot sooner). :) Glad you had a good visit with Kelli. Love you.
