Thirty Days of Thankfulness - Day 11

This 11th of my Thirty Days of Thankfulness posts is a biggie.

Day 11:

Today is Veteran's Day.  I have several family members who have served in the military.  I don't want to list them all for fear that I'll accidentally forget someone.  I do, however, want to share my appreciation for the sacrifices they've made for our country.   Those who have passed and have gone on home were and those who are still walking this green earth are some of the most dedicated, gifted, generous people.  What an honor it is to call them family.

Thank you, Veterans, for your service, for your sacrifice, and for your honor when it is needed most.

Today, I'm thankful for the men and women called to serve on the front lines in order to protect us and to protect others.

  2. You are right, sweetheart, we have many wonderful Vets in the family. And, we can't say "thank you" enough to those still with us for the sacrifices they have made for our great nation. I pray those who have gone before us always knew how much we loved and respected them. Love you.
