23 Weeks - Pregnancy #4
Each Monday, I'd like to do a highlights post, including a picture, summarizing the differences in my pregnancy from week to week. I totally "grabbed" this idea from Kelly. I've done this with my three previous pregnancies (you can go to the search box and type in "pregnancy," or "week #" if you're interested in how my previous pregnancies progressed), as well, and I still think it is a great way to jot down the things that I don't want to forget later on.
How far along: 23 weeks
Size of baby: This little one is more than 11 inches long (head to toe) and weighs about the same amount as a mango.
Total weight gain/loss: I'm up 10 pounds total as of my last appointment a few weeks ago.
Maternity clothes: spaghetti strap shirts, loose skirts or summery dresses, and cute/comfy shorts
Gender: boy :) 💙
Movement: I feel lots of movement at night before bed, but if I'm still during the day, he lets me know he's awake :)
Sleep: Sleep has been fine.
What I miss: I miss holding my kids on my lap. It's just not comfortable anymore.
Cravings: protein shakes in the morning, cheese and crackers, fruit-filled popsicles
Symptoms: visiting the restroom often, a little morning sickness each morning when I wake, tightness in my lower back muscles
Exercise: walking a couple of times a week at the mall, 15-20 minutes of yoga stretches before bed 2-4 nights a week,
Best moment this week: Watching Jack and Ella talk to him :)
