July 23rd in Pictures (and a few words)

We're sooo thankful we were able to celebrate our wedding day here.

LOVE!

First dance

Dancing with my daddy :)
(the one on the right is my most favorite picture of him)

"I carry your heart with me (I carry it in
my heart) I am never without it (anywhere
I go you go, my dear: and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree of life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)"

Comments

  1. Joy I love you to pieces but I will hijack your pictures and blur my face out in the group picture. Apparently I'm the only one who decided to make a face. :D

Other than that, they're lovely pictures! It was a very memorable day.

  2. The poem is beautiful and the pictures bring tears to my eyes. It was truly a beautiful day filled with so much love. Your dad and I are so happy that you and Spencer have been blessed to find your soul mates. May your happiness continue to grow each day. Love you.
