Thirty Days of Thankfulness - Take Two - Day 14

I found them like this this morning while they were having some brother/sister time before her morning nap.  **Love this and love them.**    Today, I'm thankful that my children are sweet to one another (Jack is especially kind to Ella) and that they are on the road to becoming good friends. Thank you, Lord.

They were wearing hand-me-downs, and they both looked terribly adorable, and their smiles were squeezing my heart JUST so, and. Oh. My. Goodness. So, I sat them on the bench and took some pictures with my phone before jumping in the car to head to church.  I took four of each before my phone told me I had no more space.  I was bummed I didn't have room for a shot of them together.  I deleted one of each that was blurry with movement, and these are the moments captured.  Ooof my heart.  I love our porch.  I love that bench.  I LOVE these little people.  The LORD is good to me, and so I thank the LORD.  Over and over again.  "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Psalm 127:3 This one I cling to and hope for as my children grow.   "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." 3 John 1:4  I will do my best to continue ...

This guy named Hank

Hey y'all!  I have never done a post like this before, but I feel compelled .  Com-pelled , I tell you. The Husband and I are friends with a guy named Hank. Well, his name is Henry, but everyone calls him Hank... except his sweet mom.    Hank joined our church a few years ago, and then he joined the small group we were apart of last year.  Ever since that first meeting, The Husband and Hank have really gotten along well. :) Haha! Can you tell?! Picture taken by the talented Bethany.  Hank's on the left; The Husband is on the right.  And..my mom is eating a strawberry :) He loves dogs, and he has rescued  many  over the years. He's smart and has a great sense of humor.  He's pretty witty! Haha, they are two of a kind! He sings with our worship team at church. He works hard at his job (something to do with computers), and he's also a co-owner of a something-to-do-with-computers business. He recently sponsored two childr...
