Edit - he weighs 18 pounds and is 26 1/2 inches long. Oliver is 11 months old today! I know I say this every time, but he is the most delightful baby. He’s happy 99% of the time.  He’s crawling all over the place and pulling up onto his knees a lot.  He has two bottom teeth and four coming in right now. He looks ridiculously adorable when those gums and chompers are on display! He babbles and squeals often and only gets out “Momma” when he’s sad.  He loves exploring and heads to the bathroom quite often for some reason. Thank goodness for safe cleaners and clean bathrooms.  He had his first tub bath a few nights ago. Loved it! He adores his siblings and laughs so hard for them.  He enjoys breast milk as his main source of nutrition, but we’ve started introducing finger foods for times I need him occupied. He likes banana, Cheerios, black beans, broccoli, frozen peas, and shredded cheese.  He also likes apple sauce and quinoa....

1. This cutie :) 2.  Last week when I was grocery shopping, I picked up three bags of different types of dry beans. I had had a bin of colorful pasta for Jack to explore with, but I knew he would enjoy playing/learning with something new. So I mixed all three kinds together, threw in some measuring spoons, a few small containers, and a large plastic cup. He went to town, and every day since, he's asked for that bin. He likes to carry around a few pinto beans just because :) 3.  Speaking of that little dude. He will be two years old in a little less than two weeks. It's hard to remember what my life was like this time last year with only one little one to take care of. I thought I was tired then, haha!  *For real, y'all.* For some time now, I've been waiting for his oral speech to take off, and it hasn't. He speaks 5 words clearly and consistently, but he has a sign language vocab of around 40 words (If I knew more, I'd teach them to him). He uses them beautifull...

Jack REFUSED to sit or lay still to take his 11 month picture.  Every shot was a blur of skin and diaper.  So.  Here's his update sans picture :( He weighs close to 18 pounds now and is 28 1/2 inches long.  He's crawling everywhere and is pulling up on everything.  He's got 4 teeth (two middle bottom teeth, one middle top tooth, and one side top tooth), and he's cutting at least one more.  He loves waving "hi" to people, but he also uses that motion to get people closer to him and to tell others he wants something.  He eats pretty much anything that gets near his mouth during meals (lots of puréed veggies and fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, cottage cheese, sharp cheddar chunks, turkey slices, black olives, frozen blueberries, Cheerios, plums, bananas, feta cheese). He does a really good job of playing by himself during his independent playtime each day for 30 to 45 minutes most days.  He loves swinging at the park and seeing all of the ducks, and he love...
